Untitled data visualisation project (February 2020).

A series of prints which represent different global natural disasters that occurred between 1900 and 2018. The length and colour of the lines are representative of how many disasters are recorded in a year. The colour gradient adjacent the circular lines shows the viewer how to read the data. I wanted to depict each disaster with a different colour scheme to make it easier for the viewer to see that each visualisation represents a different global natural disaster.

This project was created using creative coding software Processing and Adobe Illustrator. The data for each global natural disaster were stored in separate CSV files. The mockups were created using Adobe Photoshop.
